The Father

After a few weeks without word from either Jurion or Cetrok the entire clan became worried that the pair had been slain by some deadly enemy.  To their great relief the pair returned, although injured and in need of rest, alive and whole.  A great banquet was thrown for them.  Not a soul missed the feast for it had a second purpose.  At the height of the feast Master Jurion stood and the entire room became quiet.

"We all know that the trials one must complete to become a warrior are difficult.  However the trials one undergoes to became a true warrior are that much more.  Today I am honored to announce that Cetrok apprentice warrior has completed the tasks and in my opinion has the ability to become a great warrior.  No longer can I call him my apprentice.  Cetrok stand and take your place beside the elders as a journeyman with all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that the title includes."

As Cetrok rose and walked toward the elders, Jurion D'Clend Aengdi, Master Protector was smiling, not as a Master for his pupils success, but as a father proud of his son.
