Dear Cetrok

Congratulations on promotion to the First of the Aerandiri. Currently you will be under probation for a length of time, which I will not make known to you.

A council position is not a tag or a name. It is a job and a responsibility to work together with other councillors, and the NL towards creating a better environment to play in for non-rpers and Rpers.

Any councillor with complains from both non-rpers and Rpers will be investigated, and be given a probation of one month. If complains persist, the councillor will be evicted from his or her position.  Councillors should AT ALL TIMES conduct themselves with tact and discretion and SHOW respect and courtesy towards the rest of the players. (Unless the RP plot requires them to do otherwise, this should be explained to non-rpers if the question arises.)

All Councillors are given the power to give out a CoAQ. However, the CoAQ will have to be validated by the NL before it can be given to an Aspiree.(Sea-elf who undergoes the CoAQ) The draft CoAQ will have to be mudmailed to the NL. When the NL approves of the CoAQ, it can be posted on the Nation Board for the Aspiree. Approval will take a maximum of one week.

Duties of the First
Formal Duties
To be ready to undertake NL responsibilities when necessary. In case of NL's long absence, The First will take over ALL responsibilities of the NL whenever possible.  To take care of younger citizens, and help with their equipment and gameplay when possible.  To communicate effectively and try to establish rapport with all members of the Nation.  To be the mediator in the NL's absence, of quarrels, arguments and such.  To keep check on the racetalk channel.  To ensure benefits such as CR, Uplifts and Equipment donations are not misused.

RP
To keep a scroll of names of all members of the Nation, as well as check which player is a Rper or Nger.  To check the treaty documents for Alliances with Other Nations for the NL as well as Council and Nation's perusal.  To be able to continue to perform Formal Duties when possible, even if engaged in RP.  Conduct the Treaty Meeting/Alliance meeting if NL is absent, together with the Ambassador.  To check strategies and battle plans created by the General before submitting to the NL.  To be able to conduct him/herself discreetly and tactfully when with others.

*if any of the above posts are empty, the NF will have to continue on his/her own, with guidance and advice from the NL.
